Americans in Harbour Island
Nerds in paradise (our web team)

Almost everyone’s  electronic devices will incur BIG charges for roaming here. So do turn them off or set them to  airplane mode.  To communicate with home, use a VOIP service like Skype via a Wifi connection. Many of the hotels and rental homes offer WiFi. But if not, come by Arthur’s Bakery, where WiFi use is free with your order. You can even use our computers.

Want to use a cell phone?  When you get here, walk over to Batelco, the phone company; they rent phones for $19 plus a $15 prepaid card.  Rates vary, but a call to the U.S. was about $0.79 a minute in 2014.
